Moinho House was never created as a hotel. It is a family home, shaped by generations and now shared with guests who value places with a genuine past.

1950s

Engineer Arsénio Nunes da Fonseca found five old windmills on São Félix Hill and began bringing them back to life.

1975

The restored windmill became a retreat for his grandchildren — filled with weekends, holidays and long family meals.

Today

Joana and her family welcome guests into the same home, preserving its original details, memories and unmistakable character.
